Freezing trout properly is a great way to preserve its fresh flavor and texture for later use. First, make sure the trout is cleaned and rinsed well with cold water. Pat it dry with paper towels and wrap it tightly in plastic wrap or vacuum seal it to prevent freezer burn. Label the package with the date so you know how long it has been stored.
