Trout month is here! February was named trout month by Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project. Join us every Tuesday all month long at Tupelo Honey South to support ASAP.

We are also again competing in the WNC Chefs Challenge leading up to the WNC Magazine Wine and Food Festival in August! Our first heat is against Chef Adam Hayes from the Red Stag Grill on April 10th.

Don't forget to think global and eat local!

February is for Trout

Join us at Tupelo Honey South in Asheville all month long to benefit ASAP.

* February 7th- Kick-off event, with trout two ways and kids eat trout for free. There will be a drawing for a family package including four Tupelo Honey $50 gift certificates and a family experience at Navitat.

* February 14th - Romantic dinner featuring trout with a complimentary glass of champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries. To top it off a drawing for an overnight stay or a couples spa experience.

* February 21st - Another kids event. We'll have a coloring contest (they are rainbow trout after all!) for kids up to 12 years old from 5 until 8 p.m. Kids will be divided by age groups: under 5 years old, ages 6 to 8 and ages 9 to 12. Winners will be judged at 8 p.m. and the winners will receive a $50 gift card PLUS each school they attend gets $500. If the kids are home-schooled, the $500 will go to the parents. All coloring entries will be displayed in the airlock or on bathroom walls.

* February 28 - Feature trout two ways. There will be a silent auction from 5 until 8 p.m. for a chance to win a private dinner party in their home for 8 persons, wine pairing and trout entrees with Chef Brian.

All proceeds will be donated to ASAP!
